Our Healthcare Account Manager will deliver the hospitals marketing strategy and our charitable purpose. A key requirement for Nuffield Health is to improve the efficiency and volume of B2B patient referrals from GP's, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Ophthalmologists and Large/Medium Corporates, as well as other potential groups. This is a field-based business development role, with accountability for delivering targeted referrals and revenue across the Nuffield Health portfolio within a wide radius of your hospital location.

As our Healthcare Account Manager, you will:

  • Build effective and productive relationships with current and potential patient referral sources, with the objective of driving revenue into Nuffield Health

  • Drive and enhance awareness amongst referrers of Nuffield Health's hospital service lines and strategic imperatives

  • Build multiple level relationships with referrers and develop a full understanding of their day-to-day pain points and opportunities. Ensure that these issues and opportunities are fed back to the business, in order to inform positive change. These may include Primary Care, local SMEs, Corporates and whoever else is appropriate within the Local Health Economy

  • Work effectively with your Director of Operations, and collegiately with key internal partners such central marketing and central client account teams

  • Input into the formulation of the annual/quarterly Events Calendar, and host and/or participate in Seminars and Educational Programmes for various stakeholder audiences

  • Use analytics and insights to ensure optimal use of time and resource, on both existing and new referrers

  • Build relationships across Nuffield Health to ensure we align our breadth of specialities for the benefit of the referring organisation


To succeed as a Healthcare Account Manager, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative without supervision

  • Ability to influence diverse sets of audiences

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in social media use
