What skills and experience we're looking for

Leigh Academy Hartley is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Class Teacher - EYFS to join our teaching team within our nursery, starting from September 2025.We are looking for a fantastic practitioner who is a creative and imaginative teacher with the ability to plan highly effective learning opportunities that meet the needs of all children in our care.

We are looking for:

• A passionate, enthusiastic Class Teacher eager to inspire our youngest learners and support our nursery in maintaining its high standards.
• A proactive teacher who thrives in a collaborative team environment, ready to share ideas and contribute to our continuous improvement through self-assessment.
• Someone who deeply cares for and nurtures all children, fostering high expectations for their behaviour and learning. You'll have a strong working knowledge and understanding of early years teaching, play-based learning strategies, and positive behaviour management.
• An excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Someone who maintains an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of professional duties and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
