The Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of the Security Service. If this sounds like the perfect job for you, please apply.Information:Position: Security SupervisorLocation: Central London (EC3V 0HR)Pay Rate: £14.32 per hourHours: Average 54 hours per weekShifts: 5 On 2 Off, 4 On 3 Off - Days & Nights Job Requirements:SIA Licence requiredExperience as a Team Leader/Supervisor is requiredExcellent communication both written & verbalExcellent levels of customer service at all timesReliable, Responsible and PunctualTo have a smart appearance befitting the companyFlexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelBe Calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional mannerAble to work as part of a team as well as on your ownJob Role:To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is always maintained on site.To ensure that all security personnel always adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site and report any breach of these immediately to the site manager.To ensure that discipline is always maintained on shift including the wearing of full uniform and punctuality of officers.To ensure the handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.Take a proactive approach to increasing the services offered to the customer.Complete appropriate training documentation and records.Ensure any changes to site operations are referenced and included within the Assignment Instructions for the site against which all Security Officers should be assessed to ensure their understanding and compliance. All instructions must be signed as having been read and understood. If new duties are not referenced, then this must be brought to your line management’s attention.Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of CIS and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and customers.Regularly inspect all administrative, health and safety and quality procedures and ensure you and your team are compliant.Ensure that all required risk audits are completed, and any issues escalated to your line management.To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, and visitors to the site.Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards and conduct.Monitor the Security Officer’s performance, conduct annual appraisals in line with company policy and encourage their personal developmentTo keep a proactive outlook and regular patrol all aspects of the site/sMonitor that patrols are being adequately completed and to the expected frequency.Regularly audit site equipment & ensure that site paperwork is correctly maintained.Ensure that you complete and submit timesheets/holiday and sickness forms within the given timescales.Liaise closely with your Team to ensure that they are aware of the changing requirements of the contract.Monitor absence levels on shift and engage with your line management to reduce any ongoing absence issuesTake detailed notes of all investigatory/capability actions taken against employees making sure that all such matters are first referred to the site manager or Account ManagerCarry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
