Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Athlete Mannies and Nannies is seeking a fun, caring, and reliable after-school nanny on behalf of one of our valued client families in Twickenham. This is a long-term, part-time role ideal for a nanny with previous experience supporting school-aged children in a structured, nurturing environment.
Duties Include:
* School pick-up (local school – walkable or short drive)
* Providing a warm, welcoming, and safe atmosphere after school
* Preparing healthy snacks and simple evening meals for the child(ren)
* Supporting with homework, reading, and educational tasks
* Planning and supervising fun, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
* Encouraging good routines, including tidying up after play and preparing for the next school day
* Light housekeeping related to the children (e.g., clearing lunchboxes, tidying play areas)
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year experience in childcare, ideally in a nanny or after-school setting
* Strong references from previous roles
* Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
* Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Professional, organised, and reliable
* Right to work in the UK
* Non-smoker
Bonus If You Have:
* A background or interest in sports, education, or creative activities
* A full UK driving licence and access to a car (if required for school pick-up)
* Local knowledge of the Twickenham/Richmond area
