Summary
A lovely family near Surrey is seeking a Term-Time After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children on a permanent basis. The role involves all general nanny duties, including school pick-ups (a driver is essential), preparing healthy meals for the children, engaging them in fun and stimulating activities, and handling light housekeeping tasks related to the children. One of the children is autistic but verbal and articulate, so familiarity with autism is beneficial. This term-time-only position also includes occasional babysitting. The family has two cats, so the nanny must be comfortable around pets.
A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm or 6:00 pm (with some babysitting)
Duties include:
Responsible for all childcare duties related to the children
School pick-ups from two different schools and ensuring safe return home
Engaging the children in fun and age-appropriate play and activities
Preparing and serving nutritious dinners for the children
Light housekeeping related to the children, including tidying play areas and handling their laundry
Providing general care and attention to the family's two household cats
This lovely family is keen to hire on the 1st of September 2025.
