Summary
An After-school Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Barnes, London to assist them in looking after their two school-aged children. An ideal candidate will be someone mature and experienced who have a teaching experience or educational support background. The main focus will be on the younger child, who has some learning difficulties and requires extra support and guidance during the after-school hours. The role includes school-pick up in Richmond, followed by homework assistance, structured activities and evening routine support. A driver who holds a full driving license is a must for this role.
They are looking for a native English speaker who can communicate exclusively in English to support the child's language development. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 22.5 hours per week plus additional babysitting as needed.
Duties include:
preparing healthy meals and snacks
washing and dressing the children
helping with homework
doing after school activities with the children
preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
doing arts and crafts
taking the children to parks and playgrounds
preparing them for bed and reading them stories
The family is seeking someone who can start immediately and they can wait until the end of July 2025.
