Friday 9 to 6 but some flexibility posible Up to 16 hours available some evenings or weekend hours available

Hourly pay rate:

15.00

Support worker needed for a 16 year old girl with cerebral palsy. Up to 16 hours a week available but must include a full day on Friday, other hours can be flexible.

We are looking for someone to help my daughter who has just finished her GCSEs and is looking towards beginning college in September. She needs support to access the community in her powerchair as well as some help with personal care.

Her hobbies include crafting, gaming, cooking, walking her small dog, going to cafes and restaurants, shopping, cinema and swimming. She also likes to chill out at home. She can be very chatty when she has gotten to know people, but shy to start with.

She will need assistance to transfer on to the toilet and with getting dressed.

Full training will be given so we are happy to consider applicants with minimal experience, but a positive and enthusiastic approach is a must.

We welcome informal visits for people considering applying for the job.

Duties include:



Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Moving and handling
Shopping
Cooking
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
