Job summary
The post holder will undertake cleaning tasks and frequencies within the primary care setting premises within the time allocated. The post holder will ensure that the environment the required standard and bring to the attention of their supervisor any situations that prevent the effective cleaning. Ability to record/ document information clearly in line with policy and procedure.
Main duties of the job
• Completing the required paperwork to adhere to NHS national standards of
healthcare cleanliness
• To maintain a clean environment within a health care setting
• Main duties of domestic assistant
• Mopping, sweeping, vacuum floors
• Cleaning non-clinical office areas and the clinical rooms
• Cleaning of staff kitchen area including appliances and cupboards
• Cleaning of toilets, waiting room and corridors
• Emptying waste receptacles (recycling/ general waste/clinical waste)
