Complex Needs TA - Cheadle:
Are you a teaching assistant with experience supporting complex needs, looking for a temp to perm role in September? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in the Cheadle area who are seeking teaching assistants/support workers to start from September on a temporary to permanent basis. Personal care is required for this position.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils 1-1, with individualised support
- Communicating regularly with other staff members and external agencies
- Building rapport with pupils and staff
Position Details:
- Position: Complex Needs TA
- Location: Cheadle
- Type of Work: Temp-Perm
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience
- Hours: 8am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
- Start date: September 2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding within the last year (desired but training can provided)
- An education or health and social care qualification is highly desired
- A positive, caring attitude is essential for this role
- Experience supporting complex needs in a care or education setting
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
