We are offering a highly motivated police officer an exciting secondment opportunity for up to two years.
You will join a small team to support forces nationally to adopt effective audio and visual multimedia (AVMM) technology and improve their redaction processes. Duties include working closely with both senior strategic and operational policing stakeholders and partners, the College of Policing, ACE (Accelerated Capability Environment), commercial delivery and advisory support specialists, and policy colleagues across the Home Office. Whilst focus is on the AVMM project, there will be opportunities to provide essential policing insight and support to a range of projects across the NPCU team.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your strategic thinking, improve operational policing delivery, and have a real positive impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of policing on a national scale.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is open to currently serving police officers ranked as Temporary Chief Inspector, Temporary Superintendent, Chief Inspector or Superintendent.
