Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our client SEN primary school in Bournemouth as SEN Behaviour Support Buddies. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to pupils with specific behavioural and emotional needs, helping them thrive in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Contract Details:
- Location: Bournemouth (Hampshire)
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract Type: Full-time
- Pay Rate: Minimum £13.96 per hour
- Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A patient and understanding approach to supporting pupils with behavioural challenges.
- Strong communication skills to build trust and positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Enthusiasm for creating a calm and engaging environment for learning.
- A willingness to adapt and implement strategies to support individual needs.
- Self-reflective, with a proactive attitude and a desire to learn.
- Experience supporting children with behavioural needs is desirable.
Eligibility:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Provide two professional child-related references.
