The System Information Lead will manage all Service Police cyber, digital and data activity and be responsible for the development of Service Police information system (IS) Strategies and pathways for continual professionalisation, growth and evolution across digital systems.
Main responsibilities will include:
Lead for all Service Police Information Systems, ensuring that all systems are governed, assured and correctly accredited
Identify and manage all Service Police Information Systems risk, in particular, risk associated with major developments, partnerships or changes in IS policy and process
Be the strategic point of contact for Finance and Commercial teams
Be accountable for the CRIMES Budget, circa £2.5 mil per annum, manage budget allocation, hold a remedy account for Business Cases submission and tracking
Provide Budget oversight of all IS related spend within the Brigades. Contracting, Purchasing and Finance (CP&F) is a necessity
Advise the HQ PM(A) Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) and act as their delegate when required
Chair the three Service Police Information Systems Governance Boards on behalf of the SRO
Line Management responsibility for 1 Military Personnel
This role will require some travel to meetings and engagements across the UK and the successful candidate should be willing to travel.
