Summary
This is an exciting time to join the Army Programmes directorate as we seek to employ a Cyber Security advisor to enhance our existing team, making a significant contribution to Defence and the Nation.
You'll have a unique opportunity to apply 'Secure by Design' (SbD) policy and embed enduring cyber security solutions for the Army's new capabilities.
We are looking for someone with existing digital, information security and/or cyber experience, an understanding of Programme Delivery and the ability to work and influence decisions at senior levels.
The successful candidate will be empowered to articulate cyber security requirements across the Programmes Directorate and support Senior Responsible Owners (SRO) and Programme Directors (PDs) to embed cyber resilience into their mandated programmes and supply chain(s). You will be responsible for leading the Cyber Team within the Integration Design Authority (IDA) and driving forward cyber security requirements and assurance mechanisms into the work of all Programme Teams (PTs) across the Portfolio.
Reporting Key Performance Indicators as required ensuring that Programmes and capabilities are compliant with SbD processes.
Implement the transition to SbD for In-Service systems, platforms and services.
Informing and monitoring individual Programme security governance, requirements and risk-based decision making to drive security across the capabilities life cycle (design, development, deployment and disposal).
Leading a team, working across Programme boundaries to ensure that cyber resilience is embedded into the design, development and fielding plan of over 40 Programmes across the Change Portfolio.
Join us and make a difference to the Army's cyber resilience today!
We will be looking to utilise a reserve list from this campaign. This means that high-calibre candidates may be contacted after the interview process to discuss similar opportunities in Army Programmes without the need to re-interview.
