Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Works Manager - Grade J to oversee and enhance our operational processes and workforce effectiveness. This pivotal role will require you to lead a team of skilled professionals and coordinate various departments to ensure seamless production workflows. You will be responsible for implementing strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards. As a Works Manager, your leadership will directly impact our company's operational success, making it essential to foster a collaborative environment where innovation is encouraged. You will also be tasked with evaluating performance metrics, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of production schedules to meet operational goals.
Manage the workforce, including hiring, training, and performance assessments of staff.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout the production process.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
Develop and manage budgets for production operations, making sure resources are utilized efficiently.
Facilitate communication between departments to align production efforts with sales and inventory needs.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control methodologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations in a manufacturing setting.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
