Business Support Officer, Strategic Finance, Stornoway (9794)
18.5 hours Per Week, Permanent Position
£16,959 to £18,319 per annum, inclusive of £1,429 per annum Distant Islands Allowance

A Business Support Officer is sought to provide a comprehensive business and administrative support to the Strategic Finance Service, particularly the Chief Financial Officer.

It is essential you have working knowledge of public sector corporate governance and management arrangements. You will require good knowledge of office procedures and good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel.

You must have excellent organisational skills, numerical skills and communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst being able to engage with a wide variety of individuals and organisations.

You will be educated to Degree level or have equivalent relevant office experience.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
