Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading further education college in Bedfordshire. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Catering & Hospitality Lecturer to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of hospitality talent.
About the Role
As a Catering & Hospitality Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons, both practical and theoretical, to students across a range of levels. You will contribute to the development of an outstanding curriculum, support learner progress, and promote high standards within a modern, well-resourced teaching environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver effective teaching sessions in catering and hospitality

Support and guide students to achieve their full potential

Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement

Engage in college activities, including occasional evening events to support the on-site restaurant and hospitality operations

Ensure an inclusive learning environment that respects equality and diversity
Candidate Requirements
-
Minimum Level 3 qualification in a Catering or Hospitality-related field

GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent Level 2 qualifications

Substantial recent experience in a commercial or industrial catering/hospitality environment

Previous experience in teaching, training, or demonstrating

Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusive teaching practices

Willingness to work occasional evenings

Full UK driving licence
