Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading further education college in Bedfordshire. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Catering & Hospitality Lecturer to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industry professional with a passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of hospitality talent.

About the Role

As a Catering & Hospitality Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons, both practical and theoretical, to students across a range of levels. You will contribute to the development of an outstanding curriculum, support learner progress, and promote high standards within a modern, well-resourced teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver effective teaching sessions in catering and hospitality

  • Support and guide students to achieve their full potential

  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement

  • Engage in college activities, including occasional evening events to support the on-site restaurant and hospitality operations

  • Ensure an inclusive learning environment that respects equality and diversity

Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a Catering or Hospitality-related field

  • GCSEs (A-C) in English and Maths or equivalent Level 2 qualifications

  • Substantial recent experience in a commercial or industrial catering/hospitality environment

  • Previous experience in teaching, training, or demonstrating

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusive teaching practices

  • Willingness to work occasional evenings

  • Full UK driving licence
