Summary
An After-school Nanny is needed by a family in Holland Park, London to help them look after their school-aged child. An ideal candidate will be someone responsible for providing attentive and engaging care for a school-aged child, ensuring safety and well-being at all times. The role involves taking the child to activities, such as football, tennis, and swimming and other creative, educational and fun pursuits. For candidates open to it, there is the potential to travel with the family a few times per year, typically within Europe and potentially overseas trip annually, providing childcare and support during these travels. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus but is not a must.
Someone who could speak French, Portuguese or Swedish languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, 17.5 hours per week plus full time during school holidays
Duties include:
collecting the child from school
helping with homework
preparing meals and snacks
arranging playdates
helping with homework
playing age-appropriate games together
reading stories to the child
tidying away their toys after use – child to help
helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
light laundry of child’s clothes
occasional grocery shopping
The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
