An After-school Nanny is needed by a family in St. John's Wood, London to help them look after their school-aged child. They are looking for someone highly experienced, warm, caring, and an educated individual who can provide a structured, engaging after-school routine while also supporting the child's academic development. An ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about working with children and has a strong educational background. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car.

They are looking for a native English speaker who can communicate exclusively in English to support the child's language development. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 25 hours per week. Additional 2 to 3 morning school runs per week would be a strong bonus.

Duties include:

collecting the child from school
supporting the child with homework and school projects
preparing and supervising educational activities
preparing meals and snacks
arranging playdates
playing age-appropriate games together
assisting the children with exam preparation
encouraging reading, writing, and independent study
tidying away their toys after use – child to help
helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
light laundry of child’s clothes
occasional grocery shopping
The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
