A lovely family based in East Finchley, London, is seeking a Part-time Afterschool Nanny to support their two school-aged children. The family is looking for a highly competent, safe, reliable, and very organised nanny with a genuinely warm and caring approach. A confident driver is essential, and the family can provide an automatic vehicle. A valid first-aid qualification is a must.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 2:00 pm – 7:30 pm, Friday: 1:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Duties include:
School pick-ups and drop-offs, driving the children to and from activities
Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and emotional development
Supporting homework and encouraging independence and good routines
Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities and outings
Preparing and cooking meals for the children
Children’s laundry and light housekeeping duties related to the children
Maintaining tidy bedrooms and organised play/study areas
The ideal candidate will be an experienced nanny, ideally with a stable work history of at least one year in a previous role, who can integrate naturally into the family’s routine and maintain a calm, structured environment. The family would like someone to start on 12 January 2026.
