Grounds Maintenance Operative needed in East London paying £17.05 per hr ref 451082
- Key Responsibilities:
- Clean offices, training rooms, staff canteens, locker rooms, toilets, and public conveniences to a high standard.
- Monitor and replenish stocks of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Safely operate a utility vehicle or cycle within the grounds.
- Carry out grass cutting using a variety of industrial motorised machinery.
- Weed and maintain rose beds, flower beds, shrub borders, and tree rings.
- Rake leaves and grass, sweep roadways and paths to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Lay turf and top up sunken graves to ensure a respectful and professional presentation.
- Plant roses, shrubs, and flowers using correct horticultural techniques.
- Provide assistance and guidance to visitors with sensitivity and respect for the bereaved.
