Summary

Location:  Based at Valentines Park – required to travel to other parks within the borough.
Salary: £28,887 per annum.
Type: Permanent - Full time – 40 hours a week.

We are currently looking for Grounds Maintenance operative to join our Fine Turf Team based within our successful Parks and Open spaces service.
Working with a range of machinery and plants, your role will see you visit various sites across the London borough of Redbridge helping to maintain our award-winning grounds to the highest standards creating colourful, friendly and clean spaces for Redbridge residents to enjoy.
Located at the heart of Redbridge communities, our parks and open spaces host a range of diverse events throughout the year including music, fair grounds, sporting events and community events. Alongside this our parks and open spaces are used all the time for dog walking, picnics, exercising, sports, bike riding, reading and various other activities.

Job requirements:
• Maintenance and use a range of complete machinery and plant.
• Ensure that all grounds are well maintenance, clean and tidy.
• Previous experience in the Turf industry

Essential requirements:
• Ideally proven background within Sports Turf with additional experience in working with Cylinder Mowers.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Perform physical duties in all weather conditions.
