KPMS has been operating children's and young people’s services since 2006. We focus on supporting our residents in recovering from adverse childhood experiences and leading independent and safe lives. We specialise in risk management for young people with complex needs within residential and supported accommodation services. We believe that children have a better chance of success when they have the skills and resources to navigate the next stages of their lives. We believe in innovation within the care sector and strive to uphold high-quality, creative interventions. Our model is social work-led and psychologically informed.

We have a team of In-House Social Workers, and we are looking for qualified Social Workers to join our expanding team. The core duties and responsibilities include:
• Contributing to and upholding safeguarding policies within the service
• Monitoring service delivery and performance from the perspective of the corporate parent
• Compilation of risk management and support plans, ensuring they are reflective of our policy and meet our statutory responsibilities
• Case management oversight of all cases to ensure the team is effectively delivering our commissioned service
• Oversee, advocate for and uphold a psychologically informed environment
• Oversee and coordinate new referrals, with a focus on the foundations needed to create immediate placement stability
• Ensuring case files are audit-ready
• Partnership working with statutory bodies and attendance at all relevant meetings
• Strong relationship-building with young people and clients to achieve the best outcomes

Salary, location and benefits
The role is multifaceted and includes working at the head office in Stratford and visiting our services and local authority offices.

Starting salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum based on suitability and experience to the post.

Education and experience
Applicants must have:
• A Social Work degree or equivalent
• Appropriate Social Work registration or pending
• Full enhanced DBS
• Experience working with children or young people
