Salary: £47,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time permanent

We're on the lookout for a skilled HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician to join our Shepshed team. Whether you're an experienced Trailer Technician or a proven HGV Mechanic, this role gives you the chance to work with one of the best in the business
What You'll Be Doing:
• As an HGV Technician, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair trailers to top compliance and safety standards
• Diagnose issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
• Accurately complete all compliance documentation and service records
• Engage in training to stay sharp and up to date as a professional HGV Mechanic
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines while maintaining a clean, safe workspace
• Deliver a high standard of customer service
What We're Looking For:
• We want enthusiastic HGV Technicians or HGV Mechanics who thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Essential:
• Experience working with semi-trailers or HGVs
• Industry qualifications - City & Guilds, NVQ, or similar
Desirable:
• HGV Class 1 licence
• IRTEC certification
• Knowledge of EBS diagnostics and braking systems
• Welding certification
• Experience with tail lifts and double-deck trailers
