We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Hostel Cleanings Operative Grade 3 to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hostel facilities, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to our guests' experience and satisfaction. As a Hostel Cleanings Operative, you will be responsible for various cleaning tasks, including guest rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to cleanliness and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Your daily responsibilities will include adhering to strict hygiene standards, using effective cleaning techniques, and minimizing the impact of your work on our guests. Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms following established procedures.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards throughout the facility.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of common areas for events or gatherings as needed.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and report on the status of cleaning tasks.
Work collaboratively with other team members and communicate effectively to achieve daily goals.
Requirements
Previous experience in a cleaning role or similar position is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move items as required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 07:00
End Time: 22:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.21
