Secondary Supply Maths Teacher – Flexible Opportunities

Location: Various secondary schools across Shropshire
Salary: Competitive daily rates ranging from £135 to £250, depending on experience and qualifications
Contract Type: Full-time, part-time, and ad-hoc supply roles available
Start Date: September

About the Role:

We are seeking qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to join our network of schools across Shropshire. Whether you're looking for short-term assignments or longer-term placements, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your schedule and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4


  • Following provided lesson plans and adapting them to meet students' needs


  • Managing classroom behavior in line with the school's policies


  • Providing constructive feedback to students on their work


  • Collaborating with school staff to ensure continuity of learning


    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent


    • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject


    • Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level is desirable


    • Strong classroom management skills


    • Flexibility and adaptability to different school environments


    • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
