Job Description –
I am looking for a PA to support me with getting in and out of bed, personal care, dressing and undressing. Some support with toileting will be required. I have a catheter in place, I would require you to change from the night bag to a leg bag during the day, and in an evening to change the leg bag over to a night bag.
Help with making food and preparing meals.
I currently have 1 PA who supports me 4 days a week for 6 hours a day and I am looking for a new PA to Support me from 7am until 1pm on a Tuesday, and 7 – 10am on a Saturday and Sunday.
I am also recruiting for a PA 7 days a week from 6:30pm – 7:30pm to assist me with getting into bed and getting comfortable and settled for the evening.
I would like someone with a certain element of flexibility to help cover it the other PA is unavailable.
I would like my PA to support me to access the community using my mobility scooter, to do things like shopping and going to a local café for a light lunch or a drink.
I am beginning to lose confidence going out so someone who is confident and outgoing would be great to help boost my confidence and make me feel more comfortable.
Roles and Responsibility –
Supporting me to get in and out of bed.
Personal care, dressing and undressing.
Support with toileting.
Drink and meal prep.
Social and emotional support.
Take me out to do some social activities, such as shopping and going to cafe’s for lunch/drink.
Requirements –
Female PA
Driver required
Full DBS or willing to obtain
Hours per week: 21.15 - 6 hours a day on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday 7am - 1pm
Hourly Rate – £13.00 per hour
