Payroll Administrator Required in Gateshead

- Basic Salary of £26,000 with great growth potential

My client, a nationally renowned Motortrade Dealer, is recruiting for their administration and payroll team. You will have experience in administration, demonstrate determination and focus an will have the potential to grow with the company! Responsibility and Duties of a Payroll Administrator:

- Payroll Processing
- Accurate processing of a end to end monthly payroll of circa 1,200 colleagues
- Review, manage and resolve payroll queries including the calculation and raising of manual payments where required and ensuring they are all accurately recorded
- Good understanding of statutory payments including Maternity, Paternity & Shared Parental leave
- Experience of full end to end payroll preferred

The Ideal Payroll Administrator Candidate:

- Previous experience working as part of a payroll team is essential
- Must have exceptional communication skills
- Must be competent in performing manual payroll calculations
- Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining composure
- Experience of operating a modern payroll software package such as PeopleXD (Access), Success Factors (SAP), Oracle, Dayforce (Ceridian) or Workday
- Candidate must be experienced in Excel, knowledge of VLOOKUP’s is also required
- CIPP qualified is desirable but not essential

The successful Payroll Administraor will receive:
