Summary
A secondment opportunity has arisen for a Personal Advisor within Care Experienced Young People
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate and committed to providing support to our Care Experienced Young People.
The post holders will be responsible for: -
- Working with young people leaving care to ensure a smooth transition into independence
- Assisting and supporting young people to prepare for independence and to support them once independent
- Maintaining accurate records as required on the young person's file
Applicants need to have: -
- NVQ level 3 or above in a Social Care, Education, Health, Youth & Community Service or Early Years.
- Experience of working with young people experiencing difficulties within their families.
- Experience of working within multi-disciplined partnerships i.e. housing, welfare rights & careers guidance.
- Experience of managing a caseload
