Summary
Community Coordinator based at MHA Communities North London
Fixed Term Contract OR Secondment Opportunity for 6 months
1 x Full Time (37 Hours per week) OR 2 x Part Time (hours tbc) roles will be considered
Salary £25,650 (to include London weighting) per annum (pro-rata for part time)
An exciting and incredibly rewarding local community development opportunity to promote the wellbeing and increase the social inclusion of older people.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual or individuals to bring older people together for friendship and fun activities via lunch clubs, social outings and exercise groups which seek to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness across a range of community settings.
You will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including volunteers, carers and relatives so communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to have a laugh are as important as understanding the issues faced by older people, working within a budget, following policies and procedures and using digital platforms and IT packages for assessing, recording and reviewing members&© details.
