Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Homeless Housing Coordinator (SO2). Your work will encompass outreach, support services, and resource management aimed at ensuring that every individual has access to safe and stable housing. Responsibilities
Develop and implement housing programs for homeless individuals and families.
Collaborate with local government agencies and non-profit organizations to secure housing resources.
Conduct outreach efforts to identify homeless individuals and connect them with appropriate services.
Assess the needs of clients and create individualized housing plans.
Advocate for policy changes to improve housing accessibility and support services.
Provide training and support to staff and volunteers involved in housing initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of housing programs and make necessary adjustments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in housing services or homelessness support.
Strong understanding of housing policies, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
