YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Customs Brokerage Specialist. You will support all administrative activities within the Customs Department to enable the servicing of internal and external customers. The role reports to Customs Supervisor.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation and presentation of Import / Export Customs Documentation
  • Handling complex CFSP, SFD, SDI and Intrastat requirements for customers
  • Use of Internal and External Computer Systems
  • Ensure Customs compliance with Customs declarations to maintain AEO status
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on relevant Customs regulations and procedures
  • Preparation and presentation of Import/Export Customs Documentation within dedicated software, including:
  • A wide variety of import/Export entries, warehousing, excise goods, CAP goods, licensable products, transit documents and CFSP
  • Advise internal colleagues and external customers with Customs related matters
  • Complete accurate Import/Export declarations to HM Revenue and Customs

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Good communication skills both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Customs rules and regulations
  • High level of PC literacy on MS Word/Excel, or similar
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
