What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Design & Technology to join our dynamic DT Faculty on a permanent contract.It is likely that the main teaching for this role will be within Product Design and Graphic Design. However, the successful candidate will ideally possess the skills and experience to teach all aspects of D&T at Key Stage 3 (Product Design, Graphic Design, Food and Textiles). An ability and confidence to teach Product Design and Construction at Key Stage 4 would also be desirable.
The successful candidate will be:
- a strong classroom teacher
- able to enthuse, engage and motivate students
- be willing/able to teach all aspects of DT at Key Stage 3
- particularly experienced and skilled in teaching Product Design, Graphic Design and Construction.
