• Would you love to work in a truly exceptional school that values both its staff and students?

If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the School

We are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of an outstanding secondary school in Bristol. This is a school that stands out for all the right reasons — exceptional behaviour, strong leadership, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Staff feel valued, supported, and proud to be part of a setting where student development and teacher well-being go hand in hand.

With a well-established and high-performing PE department, the school is now looking to welcome a dedicated Female PE Teacher to start in May 2025. This is a full-time role until the end of the academic year, with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

You’ll be delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons to female students across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical activity, confidence, and a love for sport. The school has excellent facilities and a strong extracurricular offering — ideal for a teacher who’s keen to contribute both inside and outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver fun, dynamic, and high-quality PE lessons
• Promote a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, and resilience through physical education
• Adapt your approach to meet the needs of students of all abilities
• Lead and support extracurricular activities and sports events
• Create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for students

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Specialism or experience in delivering PE to female students preferred
• A passion for sport, fitness, and student development
• Strong communication, leadership, and motivational skills
• A commitment to promoting positive values through physical education

What You’ll Get in Return:

• A dedicated consultant available 24/7 to support your journey
• Guaranteed Payment Scheme (T&Cs apply)
• CPD Courses and certifications via our My-Progression channel
• Competitive rates of pay
• £100–£200 referral bonus for friends and colleagues (T&Cs apply)
• PAYE payment structure — no admin fees or hidden costs

If you're looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact, work in an inspiring school setting, and potentially secure a permanent post, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Join a school where your passion for PE will be truly valued — and where students are eager to learn, participate, and thrive.
