**Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator **
**Location:** Coventry
**Shift:** Monday to Friday Day Shift
**Pay:** £40000 to £45000
**Industry:** Automotive
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts, components, and assemblies from technical drawings
* Support pre-production design and development as part of the companys product innovation programme
* Use joining techniques including welding, bonding, and riveting in a low volume environment
* Hand-form panels using wheeling, hammer forming, shrinking, and stretching methods
* Inspect materials and finished components to ensure they meet high quality and fine tolerance standards
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience in sheet metal work, fabrication, and working to tight tolerances
* Strong ability to read engineering drawings and develop blanks/forms accurately
* Skilled in using hand tools and metalworking equipment safely and effectively
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
* BIW (Body-in-White) build experience is desirable but not essential
