Supplying to key engineering companies across the country. We now have new opportunities for additional Forklift Drivers to join our ever-growing West Midlands operation.
Permanent/Full time position:
Basic weekly hours, dependent on shift 37.5, 42.5 and 44 hours per week, Shifts starting at 10:00, 12:00 & 19:00 with overtime paid at time and half thereafter. 25 days holiday entitlement plus all bank holidays paid.
Day shift £25,750
Night Shift £28,080
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the safe and efficient picking and packaging of our metal to various customer.
- Ensuring all items are picked correctly with attention to detail.
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Manual Handling lifting aluminium and stainless steel- physical work.
- Complete daily Forklift checks with regards to safety and keep the truck in acceptable condition.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
The Person:
- The applicant must have had at least 1-2 years' experience Driving a counterbalance Forklift.( gas)
- Up to date Forklift Licence, must be recognised by an accredited body
- Must be comfortable and confident with Physical work
- Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
- Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to work well in a team.
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible 'can do' attitude to work.
- Previous experience is Essential.
