Summary
Job Title: Stores Production Operative
Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 8am-4pm, Monday to Thursday & Early Finish Friday
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with general production and assembly of metal components and equipment.
• Support the stores department by handling incoming and outgoing goods, checking deliveries, and managing inventory.
• Ensure materials are delivered to the shop floor in line with production schedules.
• Use basic workshop tools and equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and well-organised working environment in both stores and production areas.
• Prepare products for dispatch, including packing, wrapping, and labelling.
• Operate manual handling equipment (e.g., trolleys, pallet trucks) safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a production or stores/warehouse role is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks across departments.
