Summary
Job Description
* Play the designated musical instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, keyboard, drums, etc.) during church services, worship events, and other scheduled activities.
* Collaborate with the worship team, choir, and other musicians to enhance the musical quality of the worship experience.
* Attend regular rehearsals to practice and prepare for upcoming services and events.
* Familiarise yourself with the selected songs, arrangements, and any additional musical elements.
* Work closely with the Worship Leader and other members of the worship team to create a cohesive and engaging worship atmosphere.
* Provide emotional and spiritual support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances such as illness, bereavement, or other life challenges.
* Visit members of the congregation in hospitals, nursing homes, or their homes to offer comfort and companionship.
* Conduct needs assessments to identify individuals or families within the church community who may require assistance.
* Work closely with church leaders and other relevant committees to determine the most effective ways to meet identified needs.
* Collaborate with community resources, social services, and other organizations to ensure the availability of necessary support services for individuals and families in need.
