As a Training, Skills and Resilience Officer, you will play an essential role in supporting our new skills and development programme for our water staff, working alongside our Training & Skills Manager and advisors. In your first year, you will focus on supporting our water quality upskilling programme to ensure the department has the appropriate training and skills for both now and in the future. You will review current skills and training opportunities and assist with outreach, workforce planning, and coordinate and host learning sessions alongside subject matter experts.

• Coordinate Learning Month for the department: Organise a month of training with bespoke water, data, sustainability, and personal development sessions.
• Coordinate the Water Information & Development Programme: Arrange speakers and set up new sessions, working with the training team and subject matter experts.
• Support the delivery of workshops and face-to-face training.
• Collate feedback, analyse results, and implement continuous improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across departments.
