Join Our Communications Team – Help Shape the Future of the North East
We are growing our communications team to reflect the ambitious programme the North East Combined Authority has to transform our region.
We are looking for communications professionals who can plan campaigns which exploit the full range of PESO tactics, who can create content across a wide sweep of channels, and who can measure the impact their work has.
Our purpose is to champion the full potential of our region. Collaborating with our partners and local authorities we’ll create a better way of life by connecting communities, giving people the skills to succeed, and improving wellbeing for all so the North East is recognised as an outstanding place to live, work, visit and invest.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on some of the biggest and most exciting campaigns and programmes happening in North East England.
You’ll be at the heart of our engagement work – helping to deliver impactful digital-first campaigns, co-ordinate high profile events, work with the media and ensure our messages reach the right audiences.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Proven skills in digital content creation and getting reach through multi-channel
tactics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in communications, public relations, engagement or events.
• Creativity, initiative, and a passion for storytelling.
• A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
