This full-time post is available from April 2025 on a fixed-term basis to 31 March 2026 (with the possibility of further extension, dependent on funding).



The post will work within the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) South West Peninsula, usually referred to as PenARC, in the University of Exeter’s Faculty of Health & Life Sciences.



This role offers the opportunity for optional hybrid working, with some time worked on St Luke’s Campus in Exeter, the Community and Primary Care Research Group at Plymouth Science Park and from home.





Summary of the role



This role will play a significant part in supporting and promoting the work of NIHR PenARC. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of research information and communications projects and will be expected to work with internal researchers, senior research team leads, and external partners effectively. In addition, the post holder will be part of the Executive Group and Senior Leadership Team of NIHR PenARC, acting as the lead for Research Information and Communications and providing advice and expertise on related activities.



About the team



This post is situated within the Project Support Team of PenARC. The team, which includes colleagues from the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, provides operational, programme management, administrative and communications support to the wider PenARC research group.
