What skills and experience we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a finance environment (preferably in the education sector) and be committed to delivering work of a high standard with good attention to detail. With good team working skills, the ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to managing their workload and be skilled in building relationships.
What the school offers its staff
Wandle Learning Trust was founded in 2018 and is now a family of five schools. Unique to our Trust is the strong collaboration with Wandle Learning Partnership, which is home to our Teaching School Hub, English Hub and Maths Hub and our not-for-profit phonics programme, Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised. Our aim is to ensure that as a result of attending an academy in the Trust, every young person will be inspired and empowered by their education; inspired to build a purposeful and fulfilling life and empowered to make a valuable contribution to the world around them.
We are now recruiting an additional Finance Officer to join our Central Team, working across designated academies in the Trust to support the Headteachers in the financial operations of their schools. You will be the schools’ primary point of contact on all financial matters, including the management of day-to-day income, purchasing and expenditure.
