Summary
The post holder will be responsible for managing the 18 Week Validation Team for the Trust and the validation work that is undertaken within the team. The successful candidate will ensure that the validation entered onto our PAS/Cerner (Millennium ePR) [Patient Administration System] is accurately recorded. This role requires liaison with colleagues across the Trust from all disciplines and supports excellent clinical service to patients. The post holder has the responsibility of ensuring that the systems and processes within the 18 Week Validation team meet all local and national policies and procedures. The post holder will be required to have an excellent understanding of 18 weeks/RTT, patient pathways and the national and local rules regarding this access target. The post holder will need to provide support, training, development and advice to the team. Monitoring of team productivity and audit is also a key part of the role, addressing any areas of variance or concern. The post holder will act as a super user of the outpatient, booking and inpatient elements of Cerner (Millennium ePR) as well as developing good knowledge of the ERS referrals system.
