Summary
Thorn Baker Recruitment are currently looking for Labourers to work in a busy concrete plant in Alfreton, Our client has immediate vacancies on a temporary to permanent basis.
The Job:
As a labourer you will be responsible for: -
• Safely operating machinery
• Assisting with the mixing and pouring of concrete into moulds
• Stripping finished concrete products out of their moulds / casts
• Checking the finished product to ensure it meets specifications
• Ensuring all health and safety site requirements are met
About You:
• Machine operative experience beneficial but not essential
• Comfortable with physically demanding work
• Looking for a long-term opportunity
• Overhead crane license and FLT license are beneficial but not essential
• Must be able to provide a negative drug test prior to being placed on site
The Hours:
Labourers: - 8:00am - 4:00pm from Monday – Friday.
The Pay:
Labourers: - £11.75 per hour, increasing to £12.75per hour after 12 weeks.
