We are seeking an experienced Senior Communications Officer (Planning and Growth) to join our dynamic team at LBS. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting our communication strategies to effectively promote our growth initiatives and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications within the context of organizational development, with a focus on strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. Your role will require you to design and implement communication plans that support our growth objectives while ensuring consistency in messaging across various platforms. As you work closely with different departments, you will need to embody our organization's vision and values in all communications. This position requires a proactive individual who can analyze trends, identify opportunities for innovation, and leverage data to enhance our communication efforts. Your expertise in using various communication channels will play a critical role in fostering relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication strategies that align with the organization's growth and planning objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and create compelling narratives about growth initiatives.
Manage content creation for various communication platforms including website, social media, and internal communication channels.
Analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of different strategies and campaigns.
Serve as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of planning and growth initiatives.
Facilitate workshops and presentations to promote understanding and engagement among staff and stakeholders regarding growth strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in communications to continually improve the organization’s approach.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, with a focus on planning and growth in an organizational context.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive communication decisions and measure effectiveness.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with digital communication tools and strategies, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
