About the Role The Senior Desktop Engineer will work closely alongside the Senior Project Manager to ensure the successful implementation and support of wearable devices across the Trust. This role will involve identifying technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and providing hands-on support for device setup and integration within clinical environments. A key aspect of this role will be ensuring that the wearable devices seamlessly interact with the Trusts Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, mobile applications, and broader digital infrastructure. The postholder will play a pivotal role in liaising with the virtual ward team to ensure devices are deployed effectively and function according to clinical needs. This will require a understanding of clinical workflows, as well as regular monitoring and troubleshooting of devices to ensure their continued effectiveness. Close collaboration with Telecoms, Clinical/Digital, and Medical Equipment Management teams will be essential.
