Crynodeb
The role of Commercial Training and Education Manager has a wide remit & requires excellent stakeholder engagement across Defence, and wider Government, alongside the ability to support high profile pieces of activity. We undertake important work in support of the ‘Our People’ pillar of the Defence Commercial Function Strategy - ensuring our people have the skills for the future. The role will directly support commercial skills development of 2500+ Commercial staff and Commercial Awareness training for a further 15,000 staff within the wider acquisition community.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the design and development of training courses within the Defence Commercial training portfolio, engaging with key stakeholders across Defence Commercial and training delivery partners (including Defence Academy, Government Commercial College and Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).
- Deliver Virtual Classroom training for Defence Commercial courses.
- Develop video cast and e-learning products and support the development of the Defence Commercial Training Library.
- Manage to resolution service delivery from issues where identified.
- Support Senior Training and Education manager in the development of the annual statement of training requirement and training and education plan.
- Represent the MOD in both training design and delivery for pan government and Government Commercial Function training initiatives and programmes.
