Contract location: Suffolk, London or Bristol Contract Type: Office-based, with hybrid working flexibility (typically 2–3 days per week) Working Pattern: Full time Closing date : Tuesday 2nd September 2025 We operate on an office-based contract model, but support hybrid working where possible. This means you’ll need to be based within reasonable travel distance of the office and able to attend in person when business needs require—typically 2–3 days per week, though this may vary by team or project. We’re building one of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects — delivering clean, reliable nuclear energy to six million homes, cutting nine million tonnes of CO₂ every year, and creating thousands of skilled jobs. As a Commercial Manager, you’ll be at the heart of this mission — helping Britain reach Net Zero and shaping the future of energy. Your Role Join our Supply Chain team and lead the commercial management of our Design, Engineering and Construction contracts. You’ll collaborate with Programme Delivery, Finance, Legal, and suppliers to ensure contracts deliver on cost, quality, and time. What you’ll do: Manage contracts from tender to post contract final account Manage and support contract drafting and negotiations Transfer best practices from Hinkley Point C to Sizewell C Drive supplier performance and value for money What You’ll Bring Proven experience in contract administration and commercial management Consultant or Contractor experience is desiredProven experience of NEC Contract management from Contract award to completion (Option A, C, E). Experience or knowledge of FIDIC is desirableStrong change management skills and experience in accordance with NEC / FIDICProven experience in cost forecasting and performance report production and monitoring Strong negotiation, influencing, problem solving and communication skills Ideally degree level qualified / chartered (RICS, MCIPS) A mindset for team-working, innovation, collaboration, and sustainability Good organisational skills with ability to quickly adapt to changing situationsAbility to absorb complex information and assess requirements and make recommendationsExperience of CEMAR Contract Management platform desired but not essential What’s in It for You Salary: £52,000–£70,000, depending on experience Bonus: 5% annual incentive Pension: Up to 7.5% employee / 15% employer contribution Leave: 28 days holiday plus bank holidays BenefitsPrivate health cover Cycle-to-work scheme Discounts & employee pricing Ongoing professional development Why Sizewell C?
