Crynodeb
The successful candidate will the the following main duties on a day to day basis:
Ensure all telecommunication incidents and Requests for Change are managed in accordance with agreed Customer Service Agreements.
Ensure all interruptions to service on-site are communicated to the customer and the Global Operations Security Control Centre where appropriate.
Monitoring of Telecommunication services and performance, fault diagnosis and rectification for MOD St Athan.
Focal point for all telecommunications contractor activity on MOD St Athan and ensuring the 4C’s system is followed.
Completion and submission of Service Order Request Forms in association with the Catalogue for Services, for new or changing communications requirements / holdings and obtaining correct budgetary approval for provision of services.
Issuing Telecommunications equipment including but not limited to Mobile phones, iPad, Sim Cards, 4/5G routers and Fixed Voice handsets to MOD St Athan personnel. Providing user training and support where appropriate and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed.
Assist in the design, project management, implementation, and future support of new MOD St Athan Telecommunication services.
Assist with the scrutinising of bills and optimisation of all Telecommunications services on MOD St Athan to ensure commercial compliance and value for money.
Providing financial advice and technical explanation where needed to the customer.
Updating the relevant Annex to the Site Business Continuity Plan.
Maintaining records of all Telecommunications Services on MOD St Athan.
Any other duties as required by your LM commensurate with your grade.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
