Are you passionate about culture and community? Do you want to make a real impact in delivering an ambitious cultural strategy?
We are looking for a dynamic Cultural Outreach Officer to join our thriving team and help shape the cultural landscape in West Lindsey. As a Cultural Outreach Officer, you will play a key role in implementing the West Lindsey Cultural Strategy and supporting the Council’s Corporate Plan.
This is a great opportunity to work on exciting cultural projects in a supportive and collaborative team environment. It will give you the chance to make a tangible impact on local cultural initiatives.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
• Working directly with local communities, elected Councillors, and a wide range of partners such as town and parish councils, local businesses, other local authorities, and voluntary and community sector organisations to coordinate joint activities addressing cultural priorities and issues.
• Assisting in the delivery of projects, programmes, and initiatives in support of the West Lindsey Cultural Strategy.
• Supporting the Cultural Development Manager in coordinating and aligning cultural activities across the district.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for culture and a strong understanding of the local community. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
